Forces Manor Hotel - Kincraig

The location was marvellous in an attractive area. It was also just next door to the Cairngorms, local pub, and the surrounding mountains...

beautiful and charming hotel managed by kind people. we had coffee and tea in the morning. there were satellite tv, central heating, and a seating area in the room, appreciated that. our property was in a quiet location, minutes from a bus stop. it was minutes from kincraig downtown.

It was an incredibly beautiful place.

The staff were amicable and helpful too.

The shared lounge was cozy, while the small bathroom made movement difficult.

The location was good and beautiful: it took about 5 minutes to reach the downtown. Stayed here before and would definitely go again.

What I loved most was the fantastic location—so close to the beauty of Cairngorm NP! 🏞️ Just be mindful that the shared facilities could use some attention.

Forces manor offers a fantastic location with a lively atmosphere. The standard single room was clean and straightforward, perfect for our needs. I loved the communal kitchen and how cute tony and his team were. The hotel's mission to help those who served is commendable, and it reflects in the warm vibe.

The shared bathroom experience could use improvement for hygiene!!! There are inadequate privacy concerns due to thin walls and close quarters!!! Noise interruptions from other guests detract from relaxation!!!

Cozy room, great location, with easy access to the nearby Loch Insh and a cute atmosphere thanks to Tony's hospitality with enjoyable mornings in the dining room for breakfast and quality time with our group of 20. The hotel is also just a short drive from the nearest airport.

The family room was spacious and had a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There were plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The communal kitchen was large and well-equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and toaster. The location is peaceful with fine mountain views.

The stay was primarily for enjoying the local attractions, and we were pleased with the clean and comfortable Standard Single Room. The communal areas provided a nice place to relax, and we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere from the team. It would have been great to have better transportation options, but overall, it was a satisfying experience for our short visit.

During my three-night stay, I appreciated the very short distance of less than a 5-minute walk to Frank Bruce Sculpture Trail and the beautiful scenery around Loch Insh just about 1.5 km away, made for good morning strolls and peaceful afternoons exploring the area.

We stayed in the Family Room with Shower, and it was comfy enough. The room was clean, and the finishes felt nice and modern. It was a bit on the small side, especially the bathroom. We loved that the place had a unique vibe with military decor and a cozy atmosphere. Great to have our dog with us, too! It felt cute, thanks to the owner's personal touch and warmth.
